a. Many-to-one matching: multiple documents to a single transaction.

b. One-to-many matching: single document to multiple transactions.

c. Many-to-many matching: multiple documents to multiple transactions (requires exact total match).

1. What happens if I don’t clear documents?

Ans. Possibilities:

a. Uncleared documents can cause duplicate expense entries.

b. Transactions may remain inaccurate, affecting reporting and audits.

c. You may face reconciliation issues, making month-end closing longer.

1. What file formats are supported for upload?

Ans. PDF , JPEG/JPG , PNG

1. How do I know which document belongs to which transaction?

Ans. Options:

a. Docyt matches documents automatically using AI if possible.

b. For manual matching:

• Compare vendor, amount, date, and account type.

• Use filters (amount, vendor, date, or account) in the Reconciliation Center.

• Click on document icons (receipt or invoice) to view full details.

1. Do uncleared documents stop closing the books?

Ans. No, but uncleared documents may cause duplicate entries and inaccurate financial statements.

It’s best practice to match all documents or mark them as No Document Needed before closing the books.
