How to Use the Tasks Feature in Task Management

This enables creating tasks, enabling recurrence, managing schedules, and improving task visibility across multiple businesses from the centralized Dashboard.

Docyt’s Task Management automates repetitive workflows by allowing tasks to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or on a custom schedule. With a centralized dashboard for real-time and historical tracking, teams can manage tasks across multiple businesses, improve accountability, and streamline recurring financial activities like reconciliations and month-end reviews.

How to Access Task Management

  1. Login to your Dashboard Account.

  2. Navigate to top right corner on the Dashboard near Bell Icon.

  1. You will be directed to the Open Tasks list page.

You’ll see the Task Workspace, which includes a consolidated list of tasks from all businesses you have access to.

2. How to Add a New Task

  1. One the Task Management is opened move the cursor towards top right corner.

  2. Click the “Add Task” button.

  1. Fill in the required details:

    • Select Business

    • Title (Task name)

    • Description (Add relevant notes or attachments)

    • Select Assignee to whom task is assigned.

    • Select the Due Date for task.

  2. Click Create Task to complete the process.

3. How to Add a Recurring Task

  1. Fill in the required details:

    • Select Business

    • Title (Task name)

    • Description (Add relevant notes or attachments)

    • Select Assignee to whom task is assigned.

    • Select the Due Date for task.

    • Select the check box in front of option Recurring Task.

    • Choose the Task Frequency

    1. Weekly

2. Bi- Weekly

3. Monthly

4. Quarterly

5. Annually

  1. Select the Day or Date for Recurring the task.

  2. Click on Create Task.

4. How to Navigate the Tasks by Status

  1. Log in to your Docyt account.

  2. From the sidebar or dashboard, click on Task Management.

  3. You’ll land on the Tasks Dashboard, displaying all open, in-progress, and completed tasks.

  • Open

  • Assigned

  • Blocked

  • Closed

  • Trash

  1. Click on the Tasks to open the complete Page for each Tasks

  2. You will get the following option in each tasks

  • Add Document to the Tasks

  • Add Comments to the Tasks

  • Edit or delete recurrence settings anytime from task details.
